Dissemination

The main tasks of the dissemination strategy is to disseminate the work and results of the project (such as the Roadmap and the Registry of tools and services) to key target audiences in the cultural heritage sector and beyond.

The dissemination strategy includes the following activities and instruments:

  • The Project web site, containing a description of the project objectives, consortium, and other important and up-to-date information.The website will be used by the consortium as the main dissemination channel.
  • A DCH-RP show-case available on Digitalmeetsculture.net, the online platform for cooperation and information in the field of digital cultural heritage, managed by Promoter, the technical coordinator of DCH-RP. The showcase aims at supporting the dissemination activities of the project and enhancing the web traffic towards this official DCH-RP website. It also represents a tool to widen the communication of the project towards a larger audience, including both professional and general public.
  • Project leaflets and poster - electronic and paper-based material published to disseminate the project objectives and the outcomes.
  • The booklet that presents to a wider audience the main outcomes of the project.
  • The Handbook on the Roadmap for preservation of digital cultural heritage.
  • Collaborative tools and work spaces already available on e-Infrastructures used by the partners to work on various topics.
  • National and international conferences and workshops in the area of e-infrastructures and preservation services for digital cultural heritage, held also in collaboration with other cluster projects, in order to raise attention and contribute to the coordination and dissemination of ideas related to e-Infrastructures services for preservation.
  • On-line consultations, like the one on the Intermediate Version of the Roadmap to encourage the involvement of the digital cultural heritage community in the testing and validation of requirements and Roadmap development to encourage the involvement of the digital cultural heritage community in the testing and validation of requirements and Roadmap development.

  • Newsletters addressed to key stakeholders and the scientific community.
