DCH-RP Final Conference The Final conference of the DCH-RP project will be held in Rome on 22nd September 2014 at the National Central Library. The Conference is organized by the Central Institute for Union Catalogue (ICCU) under the umbrella of the Italian EU Presidency. The main objective of the workshop is to provide an overview of the main outcomes achieved by the DCH-RP project, focusing on the Roadmap for Preservation of Digital Cultural Heritage and on the potential role of e-infrastructures in the preservation of DCH. Workshop: Digital preservation sustainability on the EU policy level In the framework of the Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL) and the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries (TPDL) the APARSEN and SCAPE projects will co-organize a workshop on September 8th from 13:00 until 17:00 with the title Digital preservation sustainability on the EU policy level, where DCH-RP will has a stall. International conference on "Investing in opportunity : Policy and Planning for a Sustainable Digital Future" This conference, which will be held in London next November 17th and 18th, will compare the strategic economic aspirations of funders and policy makers against the practical experience of digital preservation, including perspectives from practitioners, vendors and users of digital preservation services. It will also identify emerging best practice and will provide a forum for needs and practical requirements to be articulated. |
